Well, I’m not one to betray confidences, but suffice to say that we’re acquaintances over our SLives. It’s been a while since we’ve spent any time together, so we spent a lot of time catching up.
As far as the Flickr search went, I wish I could say we went into depth on it. It was more “gee whiz” from me, as Tayzia and I Flickr-searched all sorts of Second Life buzzwords and Second Life art names. The display of “Morris Vig” search results was particularly unnerving.
I believe the art installation was designed by a couple gentlemen from Ball State University in Indiana. It was very, very impressive…and I believe that there are a number of other fascinating builds on the sim, too.
"Second Life" and apparently anything with the words "Second Life" in it are trademarks of Linden Research, Inc., which is often known as Linden Lab. All terms, references, etc. are used with the utmost respect and deference as I enjoy my Second Life account and have no desire to see it suspended or revoked.
"SLArt," however, is the trademark of Richard Minsky, so Linden Research, Inc. is going to have to suck it up and deal on that one.
By the way, does anyone know how to make those little "tm's" or "circle r's" on their blog? I genuinely have no idea.
