Primtings Gallery Surrealism

I received a landmark labeled “[3d] Ambiguous Figures @ Primting” from a recent acquaintance and stopped over this morning for a look around. It’d been several months since my last visit and I was delighted that I took the time to see a marvelous set of five Primtings from Kacy Depres. From a notecard, Ina Centaur the gallery curator explains, “What’s a primting you ask? Why, it’s simply a prim(ed pain)ting.” Pictured above is “Seascape” based on the real life 2D piece created by Max Ernst and next to it the 3D Primting created by Ms Depres.
