Tranquil Art Museum Kuna Mola Exhibit

The exhibit features over 30 Molas created by the Kuna people of the Republic of Panama. These are all original works that be viewed only here at the Tranquil Art Museum in Second Life. The Kuna Indians live on the San Blas Archipelago along the Atlantic coast of Panama and Colombia. These textiles are very unique examples of Native American art and Molas are collected as folk art in real life and displayed in noted museums. This collection was donated by Nexus Dot who also generously has made available complimentary copies of several for visitors. Nexus is a cultural anthropologist in RL, who collected the Molas and has worked with indigenous cultures in Panama.
