I attended the opening of Karuna’s brand new Cafe Ristretto yesterday evening and came back today for a view of Sunn’s marvelous display on the roof top garden of the cafe. The collection at the Cafe includes both SL landscape photography and original abstract illustrations. In a note card I received, Mr. Thunders states he is, “interested in images that capture and evoke rich colors and textures.” The SIM, Karuna is devoted to HIV/AIDS and is funded by the National Library of Medicine, a grant written by the Alliance Library System. Information about HIV/AIDS is available along with collection kiosks for donations.
